Earl Dyke, age 86 of Bybee, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 1st, following a brief stay at the Heritage Center in Morristown.
Mr. Dyke was a member of Bruner’s Grove Methodist Church. He retired from Berkline in Morristown after more than four decades of faithful employment.
Mr. Dyke enjoyed music, raising chickens, and loafing around with family and friends. One of nine children, Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Eddie & Erdellon Dyke; his wife, Geneva Dyke; and son, Terry Dyke.
He is survived by his son, Marty (Kathy) Dyke; grandchildren, Mysti (Dwayne) Stephenson, Amy (Tyler) Drake, & Shannon Dyke; as well as eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 7PM Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Ball officiating. The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM prior to the service. Burial will be 11AM Friday morning, March 4, 2016 in the Bruner’s Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.
