(August 25, 1924 - September 9, 2008) U.S. Veteran Aubrey Holt, age, 84 of Bybee, passed away Tuesday, September 09, 2008 at Newport Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Holt; son, Lester Hayes; parents, Delle and Julie Holt; grandson, Ronnie Holt; son-in-law, Dean Webb; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children and their spouses; Paul and Rita Hayes of Bybee, Dale and Nancy Holt of Newport, Jerry and Tina Holt of Bybee, Harvey and Sue Holt of Bybee, Patricia Webb of Newport, Denny and Audrey Holt of Morristown; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; special friend, Edna Gilland of Newport; also several friends at Centerview Baptist Church and Bybee Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, September 11, 2008 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Larry Wells, Pastor Steve Downard and Rev. Manson Lee officiating.
