Frank James Moore, 92, of Wears Valley and Pigeon Forge, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at Sevier County Health Care Center. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lou Moore; four brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter. His parents were Harrison Moore and Ellen King. He is survived by his daughters, Pauline Wilson of Townsend, June Reagan and husband Ted of Pigeon Forge; sister, Mary Alice Parr; half-sisters, Barbara Ramsey, Charolette Sneed; half-brothers, Warren and Jay Moore, all of Blount County, Melvin Moore and wife Louise of Gastonia, N.C.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Service was Wednesday at Rawlings Funeral Home with the Rev. Gwinn Green officiating. Interment is 10 a.m. Thursday at Mattox Cemetery. The family requests memorials be made in the form of contributions to Gideons for the purchase of bibles, P.O. Box 955, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.
