Myers, age 77 of Maryville, passed away Sunday evening, March 24, 2002 Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of Alcoa-Maryville Church of God and preceded in death by parents, Grover C. and Emma Moore; brother, Charlie Moore; and sisters, Ruby Thatcher and Myrtle Wheeler. Survivors: husband, Charlie Myers; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Kaye Myers of Maryville and John and Dorothy Myers of Maryland; grandchildren, Shayna Myers, Dana Myers and John Myers, Jr.; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Lou Melton of Kingsport and Mary Henry of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2002 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Samuel C. Youngblood officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning at Bethel Cemetery in Townsend for the interment service. Family will receive friends 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
