Sanders Sevier Medical Center in Sevierville. Born February 13, 1948. He was of the Baptist Faith and has gone to be with his Lord and Savior. Eddy was an employee of Sevier County Road Department. He is preceded in death by his Father, Wilson Walker Thurman; Grandparents, Jim and Julie Ann Thurman; Thomas Decatur and Minnie Fowler. Survivors include his loving wife, Kathy Arwood Thurman of 34 years; devoted mother, Ruth Fowler Thurman; Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Brenda and Robert Gibson; Carolyn and Ronald Reagan; Betty and Marvin Carmichael; Ruth and Thurn Parrott; Ella Mae and Frank Sutton; David and Ann Arwood; Dorothy Arwood ; a host of nieces and nephews; Aunts, Mildred Hatcher and Winfred Henderson. The family will receive friends for 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Rawlings Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2007 with the Rev. Steve Rose and Rev. Gene Parton officiating. Interment will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens in Pigeon Forge, TN.
