Margaret Elizabeth "Libby" Tarwater, 83, of Ijamsville, Md., and formerly of Rockville, Md., died, Wednesday, August 11, 2004, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 22, 1920, in Sevierville, she was a daughter of the late Charles Thomas and Reva Maude Evans Atchley. She was a graduate of Sevier County High School. She is preceded in death by a brother and a sister. She is survived by her husband, James McMahan Tarwater; two children, Brenda F. (Bobbie) Voltaggio and husband William F. (Frank), of Ijamsville, Md., and James Michael Tarwater and wife Nadine C. Tarwater, of Laytonsville, Md.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Johnnie A. Pedigo and Geraldine Roberts and husband John, all of Richmond, Va. Friends may call from 7 until 9 p.m. today at the Olin L. Molesworth P.A., Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Md. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Pastor Tim May, of Pleasant View Church of the Brethren, will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, Md.
