Carl William Graves, 80, of Knoxville died Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee in Knoxville.He was a World War II veteran, having earned his paratrooper wings.He was retired from B.O.C. Group after 38 years as distribution superintendent a member of First Baptist Church in Sevierville and several local lodges and civic clubs.His parents were Arlie and Dora Rogers Graves. She was also preceded in death by a brother.Survivors include his wife, Norma Stott Graves of Knoxville; and brothers, Reece Graves of Seymour and Arlie Graves of North Carolina.Services were Thursday at Rawlings Funeral Home with the Rev. W.A. Galyon and Dr. John Kesterson officiating.Interment is 10 a.m. Friday in Knob Creek Cemetery.The family request memorials take the form of donations to Knobb Creek Cemetery.
