Wade J. Fowler, 73, of Cosby went to be with his Lord Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Baptist Hospital of Cocke County.
He was a carpenter by trade and a member of Holders Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Fowler is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Cephas and Bertie Ramsey Fowler; 2 granddaughters, Megan Tullock and Macy Jane Ray; 1 brother, Charles Fowler and 1 sister Vonda Bright.
He is survived by his 5 children, Becky Fowler of Cosby, Linda Dawn Fowler of Cosby, Billy Joe and wife Bridget Fowler of Newport, Melissa and husband Jackie Scarbrough of Cosby and Tonya and husband Robby Ray of Dandridge; 1 sister, Bobbie Jo and husband J.W. Valentine of Cosby; 2 brothers, H.B. and wife Barbara Jean Fowler of Cosby and Jimmy Fowler of Newport.
Mr. Fowler will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Jeffery Wade Fowler, Amanda Dawn Henderson, Angela R. Green, Jeremy Tullock, Dylan Scarbrough, Jacob Ray; 1 great grandchild, Caylin Henderson; several nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 27, 2006, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service following at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Kris Brady and Rev. Rocky Ball officiating.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 28, 2006 at 11:00 at Fowler’s Cemetery.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored with providing the final arrangements for Mr. Wade J. Fowler.
