Kimseys to celebrate 50 years
Lawrence (Foxie) and Geraldine (Gerrie Graves) Kimsey, of Maryville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary by having dinner with their family at a local restaurant.
The couple were married May 3, 1957, at Forest Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Harley Smiley officiated.
Their family includes son, Danny Kimsey, of Maryville, and three grandchildren.
Mr. Kimsey is retired from ALCOA Inc. Mrs. Kimsey is retired from Dun & Bradstreet and William Blount Cafeteria.
They attend Salem Baptist Church, Greenback.

Lawrence A. (Foxie) Kimsey, age 81 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Preceded in death by mother, Juanita Hayes Kimsey Shaw; stepfather, Thomas M. Shaw; father, Scott Kimsey.
Survived by wife, Geraldine (Gerrie); son, Danny E. (Karen); grandchildren, Katelyn Kristine Kimsey, Thomas John (T. J.) and fiancee (Sarah Williamson), Cayleb Andrew Kimsey; brother, Joe Kimsey (Libby); sisters, Pauline Morrisey (Ed), Shirley Smith (Ralph); supportive niece, Patricia Mucha; many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Thanks to the SICU staff, 2nd floor, Blount Memorial Hospital, with a special thanks to Dana, Kayla and Dr. Hasson.
Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service.
