NELSON, MRS. ALDA "PUDGE" - of Enterprise shed her earth suit and journeyed to be with her Father in Heaven on Monday, December 17, 2001 at the family residence. She did not go gently into that good night... She raged against the dying of the light for more than three years. The earth is a better place for her presence here. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday from the Atchley Funeral Home Chapel in Sevierville, Tenn. Interment will follow the service in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Dandridge, Tenn. In lieu of floral arrangements, the family requested that contributions be made to Wiregrass Hospice, 557 Glover Ave., Enterprise, Ala. 36330. She was a Sister in the Order of Eastern Star, Acacia Chapter #362, Knoxville, Tenn. Survivors include her husband, Russell D. Nelson, Enterprise; 2 sons & daughters in law, David and Gina Nelson, Richard T. and Debra Nelson; 1 grandson, Zachary Glenn Nelson all of Dothan; sister & brother in law, Ada and Richard C.
