Green, age 83 of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017. He was a member of Dupont Baptist Church. Fred loved fishing, hunting and going to flea markets. He retired from Robert Shaw after 35 ½ years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fairy Gibson Green; parents, Tim and Ida Green; brothers, Carl, Jack, and Wayne Green; sister, Pearl Helton; and brothers-in-law, Jake Loposser, Charles Helton, and Edward Johnson. Survivors: Sisters: Stella Loposser and Ruth Johnson Special niece and caregivers: Judy Reed and husband Ronnie Nephew: Jason Roberts Special companion: Jeanie Childers The family would like to thank UT Hospice and his nurse, Meagan for their special care. Honorary pallbearers: Steve Allen, Thurman Cate, Jim Chester, Melvin Webb, Frankie Justice, Jerry Rogers, and Brian Gamble.
