September 28, 1943 - August 24, 2016 Resided in Sevierville, TN Willie Paul Hedrick, age 72 of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Mr. Hedrick was a member of Wears Valley First Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school for almost 50 years. He was a longtime football and baseball coach in the Wears Valley, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville Area. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company where he worked for 40 years and he also served in the Tennessee Army National Guard. Mr. Hedrick was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Kate Hedrick. He is survived by his wife, Marie Hedrick; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Lorie Hedrick, Kevin and Misty Hedrick; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Randall McClure; grandchildren, Marisa (Joey) Henry, Sabrina McClure (Jake Robbins), Lindsey, Katelyn, Madelyn and Sarah Hedrick, and Elizabeth and Hudson Paul Hedrick; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Janice Hedrick; sisters and brothers-in-law, Paulette and David Bell, Rhonda Hedrick; brother-in-law, Larry Slover and wife Jenny; sister-in-law, Mary Louise Monroe; aunts, Mary (Shirl) Ownby, Aureta Whaley, Johnnie Autrey, and Floy Headrick; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Saturday with funeral service to follow at 6 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Barnes and Rev. Michael Underwood officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2 PM Sunday in Mattox Cemetery for interment. Pallbearers will be Charles Bounds, Ronnie McLemore, John Looney, Rodney Whaley, Eddie Whaley and Jim Whaley.
