Mary Cornelia Martin Hembel (Connie) age 87 of Millen, GA, formerly of Maryville, TN passed away on May 25, 2007 at her home for many years. She was employed by several hospitals as a registered Medical Records Librarian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Captain Marvin B. Hembel; parents, Nellie and Gordon Martin; brothers, Everett and Glenn Martin; and nephew, Jimmy Martin. Survivors include children, Caroline Hembel Beard and husband, Perry of Millen, GA, Judy Hembel Clabough of Maryville, TN and Martin Hembel of Bogart, GA; grandchildren, Candice Smithey Nordick, Kelly Smithey Hiatt, Suzanne Clabough Catinella, Stephen Moore, Lydia Moore Chipman; and several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Ginger Martin Miller, Michael Martin, Kathy Martin Rinke, Nancy Martin Bryan, and Melissa Martin Aull; beloved sister-in-law, Virginia Martin. Friends and family will be received at the home in Millen on Saturday, June 2, 2007 between 10 o’clock a.m. and noon and graveside services will be held at Guyton, GA cemetery at 2 o’clock p.m. Arrangements are being made by Crowe-Fields Funeral Home in Millen, GA.
