Mrs. Charlene Camiola, 63, of Newport, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007, at Baptist Hospital of Cocke County. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Camiola was preceded in death by her parents, John and Connie Barrett, and special friend, James “Pedro” Valentine. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and La Donna Miller, of Plant City, Fla.; son, Danny Miller, and daughter, Nichole Camiola, both of Cleveland, Ohio; granddaughters, Alyssa, Holly, Danielle and Brooke Miller; grandsons, Jacob, Joshua and Jared Jordan; sisters, Nellie Brewer, of Morristown; Jessie Lou Roberts, of Allardt, Tenn.; Wanda Rizzo, of Newport; Janice Rogers, of Bristol, Va.; and Wilma Valentine, of Cosby; brothers, James (Red) Barrett and Ronnie Barrett, both of Newport. Additional survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. Following a cremation provided by Costner-Maloy Funeral Home, a memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m., December 20, 2007, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Carr officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help with final expenses.
