My grandmother was Martha Ellen White, daughter of Robert F. White. She married Laban Jenkins Hall--also of Sevierville--and they settled in Middlesboro, Bell County, KY, after having ran a boarding house across the state line in Fork Ridge, TN. Other desecendants settled in that area, too, which appears to have attracted many people from Sevier County because of the employment opportunities offered by the coal fields.
