Dale Cochran Peterson Montgomery, age 81, of Greenback, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John A Montgomery and Roe B. Peterson; grandson, Jason Oliver Heatherly; parents, Carmer and Cecil Cochran; and sister, Edna Dixon. She is survived by her only daughter, Marsha Peterson Taylor and husband, Don; step-daughters, Judy Lambert, and husband, Rick, and Naomi Ann Carey; grandchildren, Rhonda Lynn Brown, Eric Benton Heatherly, and Michael Wess Heatherly; step-grandchildren, Casey Lambert, Cady Lambert, Corky Jackson, and Jody Carey; great-grandchildren, Alisha Heatherly Bacon, Kenneth Brown, Jason Oliver Brown, Tabitha Heatherly, Andrew Heatherly, and Brittney Heatherly; step-great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Brent; great-great-grandchildren, Jason Alexander Heatherly and Aaliyah Wynn Heatherly; siblings, Darlene Kerley, Eleanor Denton, Charles Cochran and wife, Mary Jo, John Cochran and wife, Jill; special nephew, Frankie Forkner who has looked after her; many other nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oakland United Methodist Youth Group, 234 Trigonia Rd., Greenback, TN 37742. The graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Carpenter’s Campground United Methodist Cemetery, with Mr. Roger Taylor officiating.
