  Gemma Moffitt and her son, Yewitt, sere keeping the old homeplace producing and raising corn, chickens, etc., and keeping active. She wrote a large amount on the the Moffitt lineage and stories about these rugged people of the mountains. She lived in the house her husband, Marcus Elliott built.
