Dewey Mooneyham , age 97, of Del Rio passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011, at the home. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Del Rio. He was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Mary Green Mooneyham, three sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years Hazel Yates Mooneyham, the children; daughters Shirley (Richard) Turner, Helen (John) Henderson and son Raymond (Jennie) Mooneyham. There are six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Murr and Rev. Wayne Haney officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Saturday prior to the funeral services. Interment will be in the Piney Grove Church Cemetery on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 2:00PM.
