(July 11, 1920 - November 29, 2012) Hazel Mooneyham, age 92 of Del Rio, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Mooneyham, three sisters, three brothers and two grandsons. Survivors include her daughters Shirley Turner (Richard), Helen Henderson (John), son Raymond Mooneyham (Jenny), several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, special brother and sister-in-law Homer Martin Yates (Virgie), two special nieces Thelma Messer and Frances Henderson along with several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice, Jeff Grigsby, Tabi Messer, Chaplain Ron Cornell and neighbor Cindy Self. Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Haney and Rev. Bill Murr officiating. Graveside will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Piney Grove Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. prior to the service. Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Mooneyham family.
