She was a member of the West End Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Woody; infant son, Dewey Woody; sons, Leroy and Lonnie Woody; brothers, Earl and Estes Bible; and sisters, Victoria Teague and Myrtle Barrett. She is survived by daughters, Ruby Allen, Sevierville, and Shirley Holder of Knoxville; sons, Lester Woody of Morristown, Lewis Woody of Strongsville, Ohio, and Wiley Woody of Newport; sister, Martha Thompson of South Carolina; brothers, Burl, Allen and Andrew Bible of South Carolina; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Suggs and the Rev. Norman Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Clark Deep Gap Cemetery.
