Zola Roberts Turner-age 84, of Del Rio, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Newport Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Sand Hill Church of God. Preceded in death by her husband Forest Turner; mother and father Allen and Lucy Blanchard Roberts; brother Lacy Roberts, sister Frankie Roberts. Survived by brother Leslie “Bill” Roberts; Larry Myers whom Zola thought of as a son; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to express a special thank you to Newport Health and Rehabilitation for their care. Family and friends will gather Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Sand Hill Cemetery in Del Rio for interment services with Pastor Dayton Livingston officiating along with the Ebenezer Church singers. Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Turner family.
