Lee Von James, age 68, of Parrottsville, passed away suddenly, Thursday, July 20, 2006 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jakie and Ethel James; son, Terry James; brothers, O. L. James and Virgil James. He is survived by his wife, Alma Owens James of Parrottsville; son and daughter in law, Michael Jeff and Alma James of Newport, Curtis and Earlene James of Cosby; daughter and son in law, Rhonda and Shannon Dyke of Parrottsville; sisters, Alene Bailey and husband Leonard, and Edith James all of Parrottsville, Lola Ball of Newport; grandchildren, Michael James, Sharon James, Derrick James, Brittany James, Lexi James, Macy Dyke and Aaron Sane; also several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Smith, Rev. Phillip Bailey officiating with burial in Sand Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006 at Manes Funeral Home.
