Mr. Lloyd Moore, age 77, of Bybee, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, March 28, 2003. Mr. Moore was a retired employee of American Enka/BASF and was also an Army Veteran. He spent his retirement years working on his farm and raising cattle. He was a faithful member of Fowlers Grove United Methodist Church where he served in many capacities. Mr. Moore will be missed by family ad friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Anna Moore; sisters, Jessie Cureton, Edna Pate, Elizabeth Calfee, Lucille Smith; brothers, Jackie Moore, Sam Moore, Ernest Moore, J.G. Moore, and Hugh Moore.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beatrice Vick Moore, of Bybee; daughters, Joyce Moore, of Bybee and Vickie Moore, of Bybee; sister, Ruby Askew, of Newport; brother-in-law, Charlie Smith; sisters-in-law, Lorene Keifer, Frances Moore, Nannie Bea Moore, Jeam Wilson, and Nell Gibson; special nephews and nieces, James Moore, Tommy Allen, Eddie Allen, Sherrel and Annette Ottinger; special great-nephews and nieces, Mike and Peggy Ottinger, Wade and Cheryl Ann Lang; special great-great-nieces, Chelsea Shropshire and Casis Ottinger. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews, church family, and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2003, at the Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Reese and Rev. Betty Shirley officiating.
The interment service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Fowlers Grove Church Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Monday at the cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Fowlers Grove Cemetery Fund.
