Wanda Mae Turner, age 81, of Parrottsville, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Lakeway Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar C. Turner; daughter, Kathy Quinton; grandson, Bradley Jackson; parents, Ernest and Jetta Etherton; sister, Blanche Hurley; brothers, Fred, Junior, and John, and James “Snowball” Etherton. She is survived by her son, James (Janice) Turner of Parrottsville; daughters, Sheila (Clayton) Presnell of Parrottsville; Brenda (Willie) Winters of Newport; sisters, Audrey (Pat) Reed of Parrottsville, Mary Strange, Jane Lukovics of Morristown; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Friday, May 30, 2014 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Fred Gregg and Rev. Willie Winters officiating. Burial will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 31, 2014 in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday prior to the funeral service.
