Jacobsen-Brewer engagement Brett Elizabeth Jacobsen, daughter of Pam and Keith Jacobsen, of Richmond, Texas, is engaged to marry William Ralph (Trey) Brewer III, son of Carolyn Brewer, of Maryville, and Bill Brewer, of Walland, July 4 at Walland. Invitations have been sent. The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Jacobsen, of Spring, Texas, and the late Betty Cook Dilday. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Buena Brewer, of Rockford, the late William Brewer, Cathleen Strickland, of Madisonville, and the late W.V. Strickland. The bride-to-be will graduate from Maryville College in 2010 with a degree in writing communications and art. She is the senior fellow for Mountain Challenge in Maryville. The bridegroom-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Maryville College with a degree in international business. He employed with Blount County as a property assessor.
