McKoy-Stargel engagement Heather Lynn McKoy, daughter of Tom and Marian McKoy, of Chattanooga, is engaged to marry Ryan Will Stargel, son of Larry and Alice Stargel, of Louisville, at 2 p.m. May 2 at Calvary Baptist Church, Red Bank. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The future bride is the granddaughter of Dorothy Cater, of Beaver Falls, Pa., the late Wilbur Cater, and the late Earl and Beatrice McKoy. The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late B.W. and Tinnie Lee Stargel and the late Ernest Lee and Willie Adeline Kelso. The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Tennessee Temple Academy and attended Tennessee Temple University, where she majored in speech communication. She is employed as regional office administrator for Aflac. The bridegroom-to-be is a 1999 graduate of William Blount High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. He is pursuing a master's degree in business administration at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. He is employed as an electrical engineer with the Tennessee Valley Authority.
