Coning-Ratledge marriage Julie Ann Ratledge, of Strawberry Plains, daughter of Judy and Jay Baker, of Louisville, and Jerry and Suzy Ratledge, of Tierre Verde, Fla., was united in marriage with Robert Mark Coning, of Maryville, son of Albert and Betty Coning, of Maryville, at noon Oct. 23 in a private riverside ceremony in the Great Smoky Mountains. The Rev. John Baldaccini officiated. Summer Ratledge, of Maryville, served as maid of honor and flower girl. Jesse Coning, of Maryville, was best man and ring bearer. After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple are living in Maryville. The bride is employed by the state of Tennessee in the Department of Mental Health as a licensure surveyor. The bridegroom is employed as a supervisor at the Coning Family Farms.
