Garners’ 50th Calvin and Debbie (Cutshaw) Garner, of Maryville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 8 at Village Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to attend. They request that gifts be omitted. A family trip is also planned. The couple were married Sept. 1, 1962, in Seymour. The Rev. Gene Berrier officiated. Their family includes children Tammy (Russell) Pass, of Louisville, and Cindi (Mike) Day, of Knoxville. They have three grandchildren, Elizabeth and Danielle Pass and Wesley Day. Mr. Garner is retired from the city of Maryville. Mrs. Garner worked at the University of Tennessee and is a homemaker. They are members of Village Baptist Church.
