White Anniversary
Congratulations to Donnie and Linda White on their 50th wedding anniversary. Together they have formed a lasting friendship, raised a devoted family and built a beautiful marriage. They met over 50 years ago in Knoxville, Tenn., at the Standard Knitting Mill, where they were both employed. They were married on Oct. 12, 1963, in Seymour, Tenn., at the home of Linda’s parents, Bernice and Raymond Johnson. Their family has always been their focus, and they taught their two children, Rhonda (Bowers) and Rick, the importance of hard work, developing talents and most importantly to love Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Donnie is enjoying his retirement from Alcoa, where he worked as a machinist specialist; and Linda as a teaching assistant at Seymour Primary School; by keeping busier than ever with many church functions and supporting all of their six grandchildren’s special events (Devin, Carmen, & Weston Bowers; Lauren, Brooke & Alexis White). Donnie and Linda are active members at Shiloh Baptist Church on Shiloh Road in Seymour and reside in Sevierville.
