Gene and Dr. Louise (Hardin) Gann, of Louisville, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their daughters from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Madison Avenue Baptist Church Activities Building. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. They request no gifts but would appreciate a note or card on how they have been a part of each guest’s life. The couple were married Sept. 21, 1945. Their family includes daughters Brenda Worley and Janice Headrick. They have four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The Rev. Gann is a retired minister. Dr. Gann is a retired teacher (Alcoa). They attend Madison Avenue Baptist Church. Dr. Gann does mission work in India.
