Nortons celebrate 50th wedding anniversary James and Nancy (Ogle) Norton, of Seymour, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at their home. They request that gifts be omitted. The couple were married June 6, 1959, at the home of the bride. The Rev. Fred C. Self officiated. Their family includes children Tammy Valentine and Jama Owens, both of Seymour. They have five grandchildren and one great-grandson. Mr. Norton is retired as a self-employed dairy farmer at Norton Farm. Mrs. Norton is retired from Breed Technology. She also worked as a supervisor at Levi's and John H. Daniels. They are members of Oak View Baptist Church.
