Holt/Williamson Wedding
Summer wedding ceremony unites Carrie and Joshua
Carrie Aileen Holt of Hartford and Joshua Nathan Williamson of Newport were united in marriage on August 30, 2013, at Denton Baptist Church.
Minister David Williamson of? ciated at the three o’clock afternoon ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Randall and Anna Jane Holt of Hartford. She is the granddaughter of the late Lewis Gates, the late Nellie Gates, and the late Dan Ball, all of Hartford, and the late Leonard and Marie Holt of Bybee.
The bridegroom is the son of David and Tracy Williamson of Newport.
He is the grandson of Harold and the late Betty Williamson of Newport and Luther and Carolyn Cline of Chestnut Hill.
The bride’s father gave her in marriage.
Lisa Valentine of Cosby, friend of the bride, was maid of honor, and Mary Greene of Newport, the bride’s friend, was bridesmaid.
Shade Grooms and Cheyenne Grooms, both of Hartford, cousins of the bride, were ringbearer and ? ower girl.
The bridegroom’s cousins, Dakota Sane, Newport, and Luke Giles, Chestnut Hill, served as best men.
Ushers were Lewis Johnson, the bride’s nephew, and Greg Johnson, the bride’s brother-in-law, both of Hartford.
Sharon Williamson and the bridegroom’s sister, Heather Williamson, of Newport, directed the wedding.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church’s fellowship hall.

Following a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Mr. and Mrs. Williamson are residing in Newport.
Both are 2006 graduates of Cosby High School. The bride is employed as a teller at National Bank of Tennessee, and the bridegroom is employed by Great Rustic Furniture.
