She is the daughter of Dan and Kathy Richmond of Malaga. His parents are Willie Whaley of East Wenatchee and Dan and Tennye Jennings of East Wenatchee. The couple were attended by Becky Wilson of Airway Heights; Jennifer Miller of Spokane; Holly Clements of Montesano; Brian Whaley of Moses Lake, cousin of the groom; Aaron Simon of Leavenworth; and Zach Williams of East Wenatchee. A reception followed at the church. The newlyweds are planning a honeymoon to Mexico. They are living in East Wenatchee. She graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1993 and from Eastern Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene in 2004. She is a student in the nursing program at Wenatchee Valley College. He graduated from Eastmont High School in 1994. He also graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in integrated pest management in 1999 and a master’s degree in entomology in 2002. He is an educator at the Washington State University Extension office in Waterville.
