Paxton-Black
Julie Rebecca Paxton, daughter of Ken and Karen Paxton, of Alcoa, is engaged to marry Christopher Edward Black, son of Eddie Black, of Knoxville, and Shirley Black, of Knoxville, at 4:30 p.m. July 28 at New Providence Presbyterian Church, Maryville. Invitations have been sent.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Kenneth Paxton Sr., of Maryville, the late Charlotte Paxton, the late Joe F. Brient and the late Carolyn Brient.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mary Reagan, of Knoxville, the late Frank Reagan, Bill and Betty Dyke, of Knoxville, and the late Edward Black.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Maryville High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. She is a certified public accountant with Coulter & Justus P.C., Knoxville.
The bridegroom-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Central High School, Knoxville, and a 2008 graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College. He is employed at Fountain City United Methodist Church and will attend Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta in the fall.
