Branton-Franklin engagement Kristina Branton, daughter of Paul Branton, of Walland, and Elaine Surrett, of Chiefland, Fla., is engaged to marry Bryan Keith Franklin, son of Darrell and Jennifer Franklin, of Friendsville, at 5 p.m. Sept. 17 at Twin Cedar Farm, Rockford. Friends and relatives are invited to attend, and invitations have been sent. The future bride is the granddaughter of Erma Leach, of Walland, the late Clayton Branton, the late Dillie Holloway and the late Ernest Holloway. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Larry and Wanda Tipton, of Friendsville, Faye Tipton, of Friendsville, Herbert Franklin, of Sevierville, and the late Ima Jean Franklin. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Heritage High School and Express Training Services. She is a stay-at-home mother. The bridegroom-to-be is a 2005 graduate of William Blount High School. He is employed as an industrial field maintenance technician with R&D Maintenance Technologies Services.
