Walker-West engagement
Elizabeth Lauren Walker, daughter of Marcus and Teresa Walker, of Maryville, is engaged to marry Theodore Benjamin West, son of Terri West and Eddie London, of Maryville, and Tony and Rachel West, of Austin, Texas, at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 4 at Clayton Center for the Arts. Invitations have been sent.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Ray and Rosemary Inman, of Walland, Eva Hatcher, of Alcoa, the late Robert Hatcher and the late Zan Walker.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Imogene Hopkins, of Marrow, Ohio, the late Arthur Hopkins, Jim and Rosa West, of Harrison, Ind., and Edna West, of Berea, Ky.

The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Maryville High School and will receive a bachelor's degree in psychology in December from Maryville College. She is employed at Clayton Homes.
The bridegroom-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Maryville High School. He received an associate degree in business from Pellissippi State Community College and a bachelor's degree in business management from Maryville College. He is employed at Vanderbilt Mortgage.
