Blowers-Guider engagement
Leslie Ann Blowers, daughter of Paul and Sandy Blowers, of Elizabethton, and Polly Yarling, of Telford, is engaged to marry Drew David Guider, son of Carl and Cheryl Guider, of Maryville, at 4 p.m. July 17 at Walnut Christian Church in Johnson City. Invitations have been sent.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Richard and Mary Drake, of Madison, Ind., and the late Russell and Mariah Blowers.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Ralph and Pat Guider, of Maryville, the late Barbara Jean Guider, Annie Lambert, of Greenback, and the late Sam Lambert.
The bride-to-be has a bachelor's degree from Milligan College and is currently employed as a registered nurse in the PICU at Johnson City Medical Center.
The bridegroom-to-be has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and Spanish from East Tennessee State University and is currently employed as a minister at The Well Collegiate Ministry in Johnson City.

Leslie Anne Blowers, of Elizabethton, daughter of Dr. Paul and Sandy Blowers, of Elizabethton, and Polly Yarling, of Telford, was united in marriage with Drew David Guider, of Maryville, son of Carl and Cheryl Guider, of Maryville, at 4 p.m. July 17 at Walnut Christian Church, Johnson City. Dr. Paul Blowers, father of the bride, officiated.
Katie Bowers, of Birmingham, Ala., was matron of honor and Whitney Brown, of Elizabethton, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leslie Raby, of Johnson City, Abby Thomas, of Louisville, Anna Tolan, of Johnson City, and SaraBeth Tolan, of Johnson City. Halle and Savannah Trivette were flower girls.
Carl Guider, of Maryville, father of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Colin Blowers, of Elizabethton, Sam Thomas, of Louisville, Todd Bell, of Memphis, James McNeill, of Johnson City, and Joe Snow, of Memphis.

A reception hosted by the parents of the bride was held at Maple Lane Farm, Johnson City.
After a wedding trip to Kauai, Hawaii, the couple are living in Johnson City.
The bride received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Milligan College. She is a registered nurse in PICU at Johnson City Medical Center.
The bridegroom received a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice/Spanish from East Tennessee State University. He is a minister at “The Well” Collegiate Ministry, Johnson City.
