Baker-Crowe engagement
Brenda Gail Icenhower Baker, daughter of the late James Icenhower, Marcella Icenhower, of Maryville, the late Nancy Magnolia Phillips and the late W.C. “Sambo” Phillips, is engaged to marry Robert Andrew Crowe Jr., son of Robert A. Crowe, of Old Fort, N.C., and Beulah E. Crowe, of Granite Falls, N.C., at 6 p.m. Feb. 22 at Lamplight Full Gospel Church. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
The future bride is the granddaughter of the late William Buford and Vina Icenhower and the late Bob and Willa Bell Carver.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mary D. Walker and Lional Walker, of Old Fort, N.C., the late Leslie Crow, and the late Edsel and Jessie Bell Rogers.
The bride-to-be is a licensed practical nurse at Hillcrest South, Knoxville.
The bridegroom-to-be is a graduate of McDowell High School. He is employed at Law’s Brickmill Market and Deli.
