Owens, both of Newport, will marry in a ? ve o’clock afternoon ceremony at Memorial Baptist Church on September 14, 2013. The bride-elect is the daughter of Terry Ramsey and Melissa N. Ramsey of Newport. She is the granddaughter of Earl and Wilma Parks of Newport, the late Burnett Ramsey, Gene and the late Mary Collier, and the late W. J. Cogdill. She is a 2010 Cocke County High School graduate. She also graduated as a medical assistant from Walters State Community College in 2013 and is employed by Support Solutions. The future bridegroom is the son of J. P. and Sheila Owens of Newport. He is the grandson of Mozella Ford, the late C. B. Ford and the late Paul and Myrtle Owens. He graduated from Cocke County High School in 2005 and is employed by ConAgra. All friends and relatives are invited.
