Wilsons plan 50th anniversary celebration Aug. 30 Ted and Kyla (Stroud) Wilson, of Maryville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 30 in the fellowship hall of Piney Level Baptist Church. They request no gifts other than the presence of family and friends. The couple were married Sept. 4, 1959, in Alcoa. The Rev. John Hickman officiated. Their family includes children Brian Wilson and Kevin Wilson, both of Maryville. They have four grandchildren, Travis, Anthony, Lauren and Katelyn. Mr. Wilson is retired from Crum & Blazer Insurance. Mrs. Wilson is retired from First American Bank. They are members of Piney Level Baptist Church.
