    Notes:

Went with brother George E. to Kentucky, to Illinois, and just prior to the Civil War, to the Black Hills of South Dakota. He made and lost several [three] fortunes in copper mining. At one time called "the richest man in Montana". His partner was listed in 1900 as George Barribal. He had destroyed his identity, and his small estate was lost because there was no way of identifying him. As he was dying, he told someone he had a brother Henry [Henry Lawrence "Coonfoot" Ridenour] in Forkvale, Campbell County, Tennessee.] [Served Civil War, IA Regt] [Lv 1850 1st Dist, Campbell Co.
