Robert McMahan

(1.Deborah¹) was born Abt 1762, Augusta County, Virginia; died 1823; was buried McMahan Family Cemetery, Troy, Madison County, Illinois.

Notes:

His first wife and four of his five children were massacered by Indians. One daughter survived the massacre and was taken captive by the Indians. Robert searched for her and found her and bought her back from the Indians. He remarried and started another family with is second wife.
