    In the GUARDIANS, EXECUTORS & ADMINISTRATORS Settlement Book for Sevier County, Tennessee, there is a record for settlement of the estate of Hercules Ogle. Before the courthouse fire of 1856, Brice McFalls was appointed administrator for the estate of Hercules Ogle and he resigned for some reason. About 1856 the County Court of Sevier County appointed William W. Bohannon to administer and wind up the estate of Hercules Ogle. Rebecca's brothers and sisters apparently received her share of the estate, which share was divided among them.

    Lewis Huskey served for three years in Company H, 9th Tennessee Cavalry Volunteer with the Union army during the Civil War. He enlisted at Sevierville, Tennessee 1 Oct 1863 and was discharged 11 Sep 1865 at Knoxville,Tennessee. His ersonal description at the time of enlistment was: 5 feet 9 inches, complexion - fair, hair - dark and eyes - gray.

    They appeared in the 1860 through 1880 Federal Census of Sevier County, Tennessee.
