    George Houser served in the Civil War in the Union forces. He was a Pvt. in Company "B" 2nd Regiment East Tennessee Calvary. George signed up September 15, 1862 in Sevierville, Tennessee. He died May 10, 1863 in a General Field Hospital near Murfreesboro, Tennessee and is buried in grave number 680 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Information is from his military records.
