    Notes:

    Listed in the Sevier County Federal Census with wife Maria in 1840 and 1850. No
    records of any children of either of his marriages have been found. Thomas is
    mentioned in his father's will and one land record entered jointly with Isaac
    T. Ogle in 1837 has been found. One source says this Thomas was an herb doctor
    and lived most of the time in North Carolina.

    Thomas T. Ogle is listed in the 1837 Tax List of Sevier County, Tennessee.

    Thomas T. and Isaac T. Ogle have one land entry, entered jointly, for 5,000
    acres of land on 24 January 1837 in the Surveyor's Book No. 1 for Sevier County,
    Tennessee. This land was located above Thomas Ogle's land (Mountain View Hotel
    site) between Baskins Creek and Roaring Fork Creek, Great Smoky
    Mountains National Park. This was granted by the state of Tennessee.
