Notes:

Nathaniel and Mary (Barron) Harwood made their residence in Chelmsford,
Massachusetts. In 1732, Nathaniel and Mary made over their landed property to
their son Jonathan on these conditions: "They were to have the best room in
the now dwelling house, with the best chamber, and a good, convenient cellar,
without any let, stint, or hindrance. And deed not to take place 'till their,
the said Nathaniel and Mary Harwood's decease." Nathaniel made a will 7 June
1744 in which he reaffirmed the bargain with his son Jonathan, and gives his
money to his four daughters and a granddaughter.

Watson H. Harwood lists Nathaniel Harwood's death date as 28 October 1751.
