  1. 1.  Timothy Fuller was born 11 Jul 1778, Chilmark, Marthas Vineyard, Massachusetts; died 1 Oct 1835, Groton, Massachusetts.

    Notes:

    The Honorable Timothy Fuller graduated Harvard College, 1801, having the second
    rank in his class; was an eminent lawyer in Boston, with his residence in
    Cambridge; was a member of the Massachusetts Senate from 1813 to 1816;
    representative in Comgress from 1817 to 1825, and died suddenly of Asiatic
    cholera.

    Notes:

    Graduated at Harvard University in 1843 and at Cambridge Divinity school, was a
    ordained pastor of the Unitarian Society in Manchester, New Hampshire, 29 March
    1848, installed over the New North Church in Boston, Massachusetts 1 June 1853.
    As a volunteer in the Union Army in the Civil War he was made chaplain and was
    also distinguished as a newspaper correspondent. He was killed at
    Fredericksburg by a sharpshooter.

    Notes:

    At the age of eight years Sarah Fuller wrote Latin verse, while her favorite
    studies were Philosophy, History and Aesthetics. At ten years she read Tasse
    and Ariosto in the original, and a little later made herself familiar with
    German writers. At the invitation of Horace Greeley, she contributed to the
    "Tribune" as series of articles on Literature and Art which were afterward
    collected and published in London, England.

    In Rome she met Giovannie [John] Angelo, Marquis D'Ossoli an Italian nobleman,
    an exile from his country by the failure of the Roman republic, to whom she was
    married in 1847. In 1850, on her way home, when in sight of New York, a
    hurricane struck the ship and with her husband and new born infant, she perished
    in the waves.
