| 1. | Henry Increase Bosworth was born 10 Sep 1854, Dundee, Illinois; died 19 Mar 1933, Elgin, Kane County, Illinois; was buried 21 Mar 1933, Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin, Cook County, Illinois. Notes: HENRY I. BOSWORTH, banker, Elgin, born in Dundee, Ill., Sept. 10, 1854, son of I. C. Bosworth, was educated in the Elgin public schools and academy, and graduated from the old University of Chicago in 1876. For about a year he was a clerk in the establishment of Bosworth Brothers & Peck, and in 1879 accepted a clerkship in the First National Bank, his father being President. For several years he has been Second Vice-President of the bank, with which he has been connected continuously since his first entrance into its service. He has been Treasurer of the City of Elgin several terms, a member of the Board of Supervisors, and is now (1903) a member of the Library Board. |
