    William H. and Catherine Ragan Doty were listed in the 1850 Federal Census of
    Macoupin County, Illinois. They had four children at home. They were: Thomas
    J., age 6; Nancy J., age 5; Mary M., age 3; and George W., age 1.

    They were listed again in the 1860 Federal Census of Macoupin County,
    Illlinois. They now had seven children. They were: Thomas J., age 16; Nancy
    J., age 15; George W., age 11; Richard B., age 9; Sarah V., age 4; and William
    H., age 2.

    Prior to 1900, they moved to the Oklahoma Territory where they died and were
    buried.
