Peter Brown

A lawyer and engineer of Raliegh, North Carolina, Peter Brown came to America some years following the Revolution and settled in Wake County, North Carolina. Although somewhat eccentric in manner, he was a valuable citizen in laying out and aiding the building of the capital city. For several years he was the only practicing attorney in Raleigh, North Carolina.
